Soma Double Cross DC

This is the first incarnation of my Soma Double Cross DC, built up with parts I had kicking around. It's a 1x7 gearing with a vintage XT thumbshifter and XTR rear derailleur. Primarily a cyclocross frame, I like the Double Cross DC because it also has great use as a commuter bike. Disc brake tabs, lots of tire clearance plus fender and rack mounts.

Black Brooks Team Professional Saddle Large Hammered Copper Rivets Chrome Rails *Free Shipping*

This is a black Brooks Team Professional saddle with large hammered copper rivets and chrome rails. It has been used but is very good condition and hardly broken in. The leather is still quite stiff and these Brooks Professionals are made with thicker leather than other Brooks saddles. There is a light white mark on the left side of the saddle near the "Brooks Professional" logo (see photo). It might be able to be cleaned off but I didn't attempt to. Either way it is very faint. There are also some scuffs on the rear end of the saddle and on one of the back rivets. All of these blemishes are in the photos.

Cross Commuter

This bike started as an ugly Redline Conquest Pro frame. The cantilever brake mounts were removed and it was given a new paint job. It was then built up as a 1 x 6 speed with Shimano XTR derailleur and thumbshifter, XT cranks, Thomson stem and seatpost, Chris King headset, Brooks saddle, Avid disc brakes and WTB 29er wheels. It also has Roadrunner foot retention straps locally made by Stephen Montano. The 45c tires make it a nice ride on asphalt and dirt.
