This 1996 GT Strike road bike is getting a complete overhaul and it will be returned to life as it was stock. When it came to me, it was complete with the Shimano RX100 group except for brand new Shimano Sora brifters. It ran but was badly in need of a tune up. I've started by taking it down to the frame and removing all of the stickers, then buffing it out with 220 grit sand paper and then a medium grit sanding sponge. It now has a nice matte aluminum finish.
